Advent Angels…Have one? Be one?

Are you and angel? Have you had someone come into your life and act like an Angel, an unexpected blessing out of the blue? I have so many times been given gifts, love and blessing by friends and strangers alike. The biggest Angel in my life was a woman named Kate. She worked as a church secretary and overheard my mom making calls to shelters for a safe place to stay in the late 70’s when we had lost everything in a fire. She offered my mom & us 7 kids a safe place to live until we could find a place of our own. Back then shelters would only take up to 3 kids per parent. Kate showed up and became an Angel to all of us. Since than I have often been given gifts, kindness and blessings. I love when I get to be an angel for someone in need. Just yesterday I was amazingly blessed by a shopping angel. God is good and gives us gifts of kindness through words & acts of the kindness of others. In this season of Advent, are you needing an Angel or is it time to step up and become an Angel for someone in need. Use what you have been given to be a blessing to those around you. I hope and pray each of you are touched by an Angel in this lifetime. Blessings to you, may Angels surround you wherever you go!
