What truth are you listening to?

There is so much noise and busyness in the world around us. Often the loudest noises come from inside our head pulling us in many directions and sometimes even pulling us down. When you learn to listen to the voice of truth, you slow down, you know your value and you are able to confidently walk into the world and your day with a positive attitude. You find your purpose in the Truth. Lies and confusion that add doubt to our minds try to bring us down but it the truth we find our voice, our confidence and our joy. Today I will slow down, I will listen for who and whose I am. I will enjoy the moments and appreciate the people around me. I will not listen to negative self talk or doubt. I will be confident, considerate and compassionate. Will you join me?

In this busy season that is mean to be about JOY we often find ourselves dealing with more stress than JOY. Can you slow down for a moment today and notice your value? Your gifts? Your strengths and all you contribute to the world around you? Take a moment to look back at your year all you have done, overcome, accomplished. and all the lives you have impacted in a positive way. Who have you touched, who have you brought a smile or a little joy into their life?

Sometimes people ask me how do you really know the truth? Where do you find it when you feel lost?

    But the stone was just the right size
    To put the giant on the ground
    And the waves they don’t seem so high

    When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
    Singing over me

    I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth
