What are you holding on to? This is from My 3 weeks in Europe this March
As I prepare for my first trip abroad, I can’t help but think about what I will be holding; my luggage on trains, my backpack, my valuable passport, my purse and wallet. It got me to thinking what are you holding on to? Are you holding on to resentment, the past, a broken heart, a job loss, a bump in the road of life? I am always aware of the shortness of life and do my best to live each day to the fullest.
So in this month of heart health, why not let go of the unhealthy and unhappy parts of your life and move forward toward the good? Instead of an old resentment, grab hold of the hand of someone next to you. Instead of bitterness why not offer kindness, even if it’s undeserved? Instead of the past, how about grabbing ahold of a vision board and planning for your future? Instead of the job that didn’t work out, how about exploring what new career you could try?
In the lovely month of love and heart health let’s hold on to the things that feed our soul and let go of the things, people and regrets that bring us down. You deserve to love your life and live in JOY not bitterness. Will you join me in celebrating the sweetness of a good life this month?
One thing that keeps me in a happy place is having fun is going to comedy shows. Laughter and supporting good friends is great medicine. Tonight I get to do both. I will go celebrate a friends book launch and listen to 5 fabulous comedians cheer her on. If you want to join me it is not too late
