The Importance of Testimonials
There’s no better business, sales or marketing model that shows a job well done than one that ends in a referral or testimony. I love when I get done speaking and I receive a lead to another speaking opportunity.
I’ve supported a team recently who was starting with a new product, and they went from zero sales to a growing and thriving business because they learned to slow down, build relationships, and care about their clients. They discovered that the sale closed more often when clients got to know the sales team, and knew the sale was the best product for the buyer, not for the person selling. They took time to educate, develop and grow before being worried about closing a sale.
I support others in starting and growing their business but I know for myself the best sales technique is a wonderful, honest testimonial and referral from someone I have worked with who has heard me speak. These testimonials tell others, “you must hire her, she will inspire you,” which they’re giving from a place of first-hand experience.
Below are just a few of the encouraging words I’ve received after speaking:
I had the pleasure of hiring Annie Meehan as a presenter…. The information, resources and videos on Annie’s website (www.anniemeehan.com) indicated she was the type of speaker we were looking for…. From my first conversation with Annie – through her second presentation – she clearly understood our audiences and presented program content that appealed to them. The size of our geographical coverage area is large – so Annie agreed to give two back-to-back presentations in two communities. At the end of both events every evaluation for Annie showed a rating of excellent or very good!
In addition to an energetic, fun and engaging talk, Annie was an active forum participant…. It was obvious that she connected with our clients and enjoyed speaking with them as much as they appreciated the insights she provided.
I highly recommend Annie Meehan as a presenter. The success of our forum was directly related to the quality of her presentation and the valuable message she delivered to our audience of women leaders and entrepreneurs. It was a pleasure to work with Annie and I’m happy to speak with anyone regarding our event and her contributions.

Hi Annie!
I was at the ” mandatory” all-staff meeting at Northern Lakes Senior Living in Baxter. When I first heard there was going to be a speaker, I “inwardly” groaned.. …. I am semi-retired and have worked in the Senior Care industry for most of my career…close to 20 yrs…. Your presentation was the first I have attended where I was totally unaware of how long you had been speaking! I did not ONCE look at the clock to see how much longer I had left before I could leave! I found your presentation, the message, the content of it so “real”…. You had been through much the same things in life, if not more, than most, and have come out on the other side with a perspective on life that needs to be shared to help others get through the ups and downs of “this thing called life.”
Thank You for what you do!
