I Love Mondays!
Who’s with me? Do you love Mondays? I love Mondays, because it means a clean slate, a do over, and a fresh start. On Sunday nights I like creating long to-do lists that capture everything I hope/plan to get done in the week ahead. It’s fun to challenge myself to see how many things I can finish from the to-do list each day.
For me, every Monday is always exciting. I know it’s partially because I love my work so much but it’s also because Mondays give me an opportunity to let go of the week before and embrace my do over. A new week, and a new list, help me to stop looking back at what I didn’t finish during the previous week. Starting with that fresh list is a great way to reframe my thoughts to reinvigorate what I can get done, capture what I think matters from last week, and where I want to focus my energy in the coming days.
Monday always feels like another chance to set myself up to win, whether that be winning the day, the week, or a new client. On Mondays, I also be sure to start my day out with intentional movement. That movement might be a sweaty workout, a long walk, or picking up around the house. By starting the week off with that type of movement, I feel like I’m already winning by the time I sit down to tackle my list.

This week, I encourage you to make a to-do list with all the things you need to get done. Then, challenge yourself to see how much of it you can accomplish! Remember, every win is a win, even if it’s a small one. If you don’t get every single thing on your list done, don’t sweat it. There’s another Monday right around the corner!
