Whole or Hole:
What’s been missing?
I know we can never have a perfect life, and I am not sure we can even have a balanced life, but I believe we can live each day in an H3 mindset. H3 stands for creating healthy, hopeful, and happy cultures.
Often, it is more about how we think, our habits, and our attitude than what we are experiencing. When I first started to think about H3, I wanted to show and invite people to live a whole life, focusing on the good, gratitude, and generosity.
However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized many people feel like they have a hole in their lives and are constantly seeking what is missing. Sometimes it is their happiness, other times their health, and often their hopefulness.
One of the biggest lessons I have learned in this life is that the more I focus on what is missing, the bigger the hole becomes. When I stop focusing on myself and what I want, I can focus on the whole picture instead. Then, I can figure out what I can give, how I can be a good partner, and who I can serve.
When I do these things, I find I am happier, I feel healthier, and I am definitely more hopeful. The hole, I feel, starts to get smaller. It is why a big piece of my work shows companies, teams, and individuals how to use H3 to create a workplace where everybody loves to show up in the morning.
Move beyond gratitude and into generosity. When we work together to serve others, we get refilled! That is why it is so essential we first take care of ourselves. So, fill up with H20 and then seek your H3 so you can feel whole and serve others to fill their hole!
This week I would like you to make a list of things you can do to incorporate the H3 mindset into your workplace. H3 TV is coming your way, so please tune in every Wednesday on Facebook Live at noon to learn more!
