Tuesday Testimonial: The Adventure of Spreading Pineapple Love
Over Valentine’s weekend, I had the privilege of going on a very special adventure.
I invited Mike Fink to join me, and he said yes—without knowing the destination, the plan, or even the details. All he knew was the mission: to spread Hope, Health, and Happiness by delivering 12 P3 Pineapple Packages to caregivers in our community.
So we hit the road.
Our stops included senior housing, memory care, urgent care, and homes where parents care for their adult children. At every location, we met people who give their lives to serving others—often quietly, often without recognition.
What we experienced was unforgettable.
Some caregivers laughed when they saw the pineapple bags.
Some cried as they read the note inside.
Some looked surprised.
Some giggled.
And one person said words I will never forget:
“This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I feel so seen.”
Caregivers carry so much.
They care for strangers in crisis.
They comfort those losing their memories.
They support aging residents.
They love and protect their own children well into adulthood.
They show up with patience, kindness, and compassion—day after day.
They are true Pineapple People.
And so is Mike.
Mike, thank you for saying yes to the adventure. Thank you for trusting the mission. Thank you for helping deliver love to twelve incredible human beings who needed to feel seen and appreciated.
Sometimes the greatest impact doesn’t come from a stage.
Sometimes it comes from a car ride, a small bag, and a heart willing to serve.
