How easy it is to Say YES to Serving others
How to get healthier 5 simple steps
Are You Healthy?
In general, being healthy can be quite confusing because there are so many different opinions on the subject. As a twelve year gym owner, I recognize many think of health only in the physical form, however, there are many more ways to be healthy.
I like to put health in six key areas because if any of these are off, then it can make you feel physically sick. There is physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, mental, and financial health. Many times our happiness overlaps with our healthiness.
Five key things I see people use to stay healthy are as follows:
1. Drinking H20. By getting plenty of water every day, we stay hydrated, which helps with energy and focus.
2. Planning out your week on Sunday. Things you might plan include: menus, down time, exercise, and time for connecting with family and friends.
3. Journaling in the form of mind dumping, writing gratitude, setting goals, budgeting, or simply releasing thoughts.
4. Moving your body daily in some form. Many people enjoy walking, regular workouts, dancing, or playing a sport they love.
5. Making time to connect with the people that love, believe in, and encourage you on your journey through life.
This week, I hope to inspire you to try one of the above habits of a typical healthy person. Be brave and try something new to see how it helps you in your daily life. The results may surprise you!

Whole or Hole:
What’s been missing?
I know we can never have a perfect life, and I am not sure we can even have a balanced life, but I believe we can live each day in an H3 mindset. H3 stands for creating healthy, hopeful, and happy cultures.
Often, it is more about how we think, our habits, and our attitude than what we are experiencing. When I first started to think about H3, I wanted to show and invite people to live a whole life, focusing on the good, gratitude, and generosity.
However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized many people feel like they have a hole in their lives and are constantly seeking what is missing. Sometimes it is their happiness, other times their health, and often their hopefulness.
One of the biggest lessons I have learned in this life is that the more I focus on what is missing, the bigger the hole becomes. When I stop focusing on myself and what I want, I can focus on the whole picture instead. Then, I can figure out what I can give, how I can be a good partner, and who I can serve.
When I do these things, I find I am happier, I feel healthier, and I am definitely more hopeful. The hole, I feel, starts to get smaller. It is why a big piece of my work shows companies, teams, and individuals how to use H3 to create a workplace where everybody loves to show up in the morning.
Move beyond gratitude and into generosity. When we work together to serve others, we get refilled! That is why it is so essential we first take care of ourselves. So, fill up with H20 and then seek your H3 so you can feel whole and serve others to fill their hole!
This week I would like you to make a list of things you can do to incorporate the H3 mindset into your workplace. H3 TV is coming your way, so please tune in every Wednesday on Facebook Live at noon to learn more!

Learn How and When to Trust?
Trust is an interesting thing. For some of us, trust comes very easily, however, for others it takes time and effort to earn their trust. I’m someone who trusts others right away. I always think the best of people, and can’t imagine they would lie to or disappoint me. In my mind, honesty is the best policy even though the truth hurts sometimes.
When my kids were younger, I always asked them to share their challenges and difficult situations with me. I also told them to never lie because once that trust is broken, it would be quite difficult for them to earn it back. All of us have experienced betrayal in our lifetimes and the painful challenges one must go through to overcome it.
My friend David Horsehoger teaches on trust and the first time I heard him speak about it, I thought, “Yes, it is important, but is it that important?” He then shared examples of what it looks and feels like for a celebrity to betray trust. For example, when Tiger Woods lost his endorsements or Michael Jackson lost his fans, both of their careers were arguably ruined because they betrayed someone else’s trust.
These examples show when we are working or in a relationship with someone long enough they may eventually disappoint us or betray our trust. When we can’t trust someone how do we align with them? We also know people like to do business with those they know, like and TRUST.
Self-reflection is an exceptional way to be honest and build trust with ourselves. This week I encourage you to think deeply about your own products, services, and
